Not a turkey in sight – just a frozen waterfall.
We eschewed the traditional turkey once again, opting for crisp Colorado air instead of overeating and watching football.
Since we’re housesitting about a quarter mile from the upper trailhead for Maxwell Falls, it’s an easy excuse to get out and clock a couple miles in the relative warmth of the day. Shelby and Tom had some great photos from then they did this hike this summer, so we wanted to see if it was as nice in person as it was in their photos.
