Part of the reason we wanted to stay in the campground closest to the Red Canyon Visitor Center in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area was to have easy access to the Canyon Rim Trail hike.
Just steps out the back door of the Pod, and a beautiful hike along the canyon rim and looping back through a beautiful pine forest.
