Bad Cannstatt is a suburb of Stuttgart known as the party district. The Volksfest (a mini Oktoberfest) happens here, and this year they had a killer Fasching (Carneval) festival.
The Grosses Narrentreffen 2020 was THE crowning fasching event in Germany, with all German fasching guilds converging on Bad Cannstatt and 10,000 participants in the parade. That’s participants, not spectators!
We enjoyed hours after hours of parade moving by, with easy access to tasty food, bier and gluhwein.
