Triberg is the town best known as the Cuckoo Clock Capital of the world.
With the world’s largest cuckoo clock and the House of 1,000 clocks – well, people get cuckoo for cocoa puffs here.
Since we’re already cuckoo, we found the clocks a little meh. We did love the architecture of the town, and enjoyed what little of the falls (not really the highest in Germany at 163 meters, despite the marketing – the Rothbach Waterfall is a 470 meter drop) we got to see. Probably on our summertime return list to see everything green and colorful.

Hotel Adler

Hotel Adler
The Hotel Adler is probably the most photogenic building in Triberg. Errrr… leftover from Hornberg yesterday. But I’m leaving it since it’s seriously a sweet looking building

Where Da Bear?

Where Da Bear?
With the number of bear-themed things we saw in the area, there must be some bears in the Black Forest

Triberg Falls

Triberg Falls
Unfortunately the upper falls were closed to to ice, but the lower falls were still nice.

Love It
