Since we could tell that Tower Arch is 4 miles due east of where we have the RV parked, we didn’t want to drive 40 miles out of our way down to the park entrance and back up to go hike it.
A little topo mapping, studying satellite imagery, and we figured that we could hike in from the Copper Ridge Safari Rd outside the park. Hot, dry, and dusty, but successful – Parallel Arch, Tower Arch, and the Marching Men.
We also got to watch a couple climbers scaling a crack on one of the Marching Men, very impressive.
