Another gorgeous day sailing out of the San Diego Harbor into the Pacific in search of whales and dolphins, this time aboard Captain Guy’s 60’ 1929 schooner, the Allure. Originally owned by Johnny Weissmuller of Tarzan fame in the 1930’s, he would routinely race her to Catalina Island against the likes of Humphrey Bogart and Errol Flynn. We got sunshine, sailing, and some history lessons all in one – not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

  1. Very nice! I thought you said it was cold? Doesn’t look that cold to me 🙂

  2. It was terribly chilly, don’t think it broke 70 degrees all day long!
