Two more 14ers checked off the list – Sunshine Peak (14,001ft) and Redcloud Peak (14,034ft). Since I was there, I threw in a 13er for good luck – Sundog Peak (13,432ft).
Just a long, strenuous hike, no real climbing involved. A bit tough on the body doing over 5,000ft of elevation and almost 10 miles after yesterday’s Handies Peak climb, but definitely fun.
The trip across to Sundog was really crappy scree, and bushwhacking down from Sundog with afternoon storms coming in certainly wasn’t much fun.
But – I do this to myself 🙂

I decided to go down over Sundog Peak, and this scree makes for a very not-fun trip!
