As we were driving from Ouray up to Handies Peak for our 14er climb, we spotted these moose along the road outside Silverton.
First we saw a massive bull moose, ingesting his daily 12,000 calorie diet and looking very majestic.
As we watched him move up the meadow, we spotted two juvenile moose sparring with each other for 15 or 20 minutes.
Colorado doesn’t disappoint when it comes to nature!
