Rifle Falls State Park is best known for it’s 70-foot triple waterfall.
When I say best known, I mean that’s the only thing here! While they’re definitely worth seeing if you’re in the area, they’re not worth making a trip out of your way.
The falls are quite popular and parking is quite limited. So limited in fact, that we were turned away on our first visit. Since were way out here anyway, we went further up through Rifle Mountain Park and had a nice short hike along the Three Forks trail in the White River National Forest before returning to the falls.

Triple Falls

Triple Falls
This park is popular because of how close this triple falls is to the road.
