While we technically could have taken the cable car to the top and checked the Czechia high point off the list, why not use leg power when you have gorgeous scenery like this?
12.28 miles and 3,278ft of elevation later, we’re glad we didn’t take the tram!
Since the top is easily accessible via the tram, it was crazy packed with tourists – and this was the reduced crowds due to covid and closed borders! Crazy.
We took an unintentional long loop path on the way down, but it made the well-deserved beers taste that much better!
In The Valley
Looking down at the trail that we just hiked up.
Here and There
Paths everywhere from the top of Mount Snezka. On the right is Poland, on the left is Czechia. Since this is serviced by a ski lift, tourists tourists tourist everywhere.
The Border
The border between Colette’s country and mine. Polacks and Bohemians everywhere!
