Since we were already in Seattle, we took a day trip down to Mount Rainier National Park.
We went in the Mowich Lake entrance, one of the lesser-used parts of the park which we hoped would have fewer people. Success!
We played in the woods and the snow for several hours, enjoying commanding views of Rainier’s peaks and the lush green vegetation.
