We stumbled on the Mayflower Gulch trail while looking at hikes in relatively close proximity to where we stay in Breckenridge. Alltrails reviews certainly didn’t disappoint on this one.
The hike is a relatively easy out and back with a slight grade, and you have the option to climb a switchback up to an old closed mine at the end.
It’s very cool to see the remaining structures and think what life was like for the folks who tried to make a living or make it rich high up here in the mountains.
