Colette’s brother Kevin stopped for a few days on his way back to Minnesota from a several week Salmon fishing trip in Alaska.
We enjoyed spending downtime and showing him around the popular spots on the Peninsula.
Colette and Kevin walk among the tall trees on the way to Marymere Falls
Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow – all the primary colors!
It’s a very bad shot technically, but I like this shot of Kevin and Colette on the bridge to Marymere Falls
They Don’t Make Em Like This in Minnesota!
Kevin sizes up a monstrous Sitka Spruce along the Marymere Falls trail.
I’m normally not a big fan of dead-center tree shots, but there’s something I really like about this one at the entrance to the Marymere Falls trail.
Kevin and Colette looking out at Olympic National Park from one of the overlooks along Hurricane Ridge Road.
Years spent in International Falls allow Kevin to stay outside in these temperatures and wind – we were inside the nice warm Hurricane Ridge Visitor Center!
Kevin brought the rainbows with him from Alaska! It’s amazing to see a rainbow this vivid, clearly defined, and colorful while we’re sitting out on the deck having dinner.
Life is Good
Keving definitely looks like Life is Good.
This is what vacation is all about – taking the time to relax and read a book on the deck.
