Going up the Feldhorn is something all visitors do.
The top of the mountain is the dividing line between Germany and Austria, and if you choose to hike the ridgeline you spend half your time in each.
Amazing views out over the Alps – Austria and Germany in the foreground and I’m pretty sure you can see Liechtenstein and Switzerland out in the distance.
For those who aren’t up for the climb, the Fellhornbahn cable car whisks you up to the top for the views, and with a restaurant and bar at the midstation you can stay a while with your feet up and a cold beer in your hand!
