Colors everywhere – playing with long exposure and enjoying the neighbor’s tiki torches.

After a hot, buggy, crappy afternoon hike it’s nice to come back to a very nice Fourth of July evening spent under the tall pines smelling the camping smells – campfires, grills with hot dogs, and pine needles. Great downtime working and weathering the heat getting ready for the Bigelow Preserve traverse section of the Appalachian Trail.

Hopefully the weekend rain forecast holds true so we can hike in the rain instead of this sweltering heat and humidity.
