We stumbled across Besigheim on our drive back from Heidelberg to Stuttgart.
We like to stay off the autobahn and meander through back roads, and as we were winding our way down the Neckar river I saw high city walls off to the right.
A quick brake-check, and yet another great find. The Besigheim tourist folks have done a great job putting together a quick walking tour showing the town highlights, and we spent an hour or so taking in yet another charming German village.
Crouching Whatever
I’m not sure what this statue is supposed to be, but I thought it was photo-worthy.
SchmuckWerkstatt
Only Shelby and Tom will get this.
Little Village
This image is exactly what we love about small European villages.
Thinking or Pooping
It’s hard to tell exactly what this gargoyle is doing here.
Hot Rod
Everybody drives their tractor to town don’t they?
Farm Equipment
Yes, Porsche started as a farm equipment manufacturer!
Spidey-Sense
My spidey-sense was tingling, then I noticed this art high up on one of the city walls.
