After leaving Costa Rica, we headed to Anna Maria Island to spend a few days with Da Momz, Beck and Rachel.
Since Anna Maria Island is where we got married in 2011, it holds a place in our hearts and warrants many a return trip.
Even with subpar weather, any time at the beach is better than the snow in Michigan that Beck and Rachel fled from. A bit of a shock from the eighty degrees that we just came from in Puerto Rico, but also better than the temps that we’re headed back to in Colorado.
Plenty of time spent chilling in the hot tub and wandering the beaches searching for seashells and other goodies.
We spent an afternoon visiting the Sarasota National Cemetery to say hi to Dad and stroll through the sea of white headstones.
But now it’s back to white mountains and frosty breath, plenty of time to be had staying warm and planning future adventures!
